dazed: yeah my mom caught my brother jacking off to Powerpuff Girls
dazed: she didnt yell at him because she was laughing so hard
dazed: she just told everyone at his birthday party the next day
BaileD: You have the most fucked up family ever. Period.
[mwcfan88> man i really got tan over the past few days
[crack-geanie> alright thats it you've been warned now you're out of
the club
[crack-geanie> i expect you to return you're pointy hat and flaming
cross by tuesday
[mwcfan88> <:(
[blue_tetris> 1 in every 5 people are born in China.
[CF|sick> That's why you should never have more than 4 children.
[knob> anything that starts with a "k" on linux is "gay"
[Wyred> heh, same as Konveration
[knob> oh shit
* knob is now known as gnob
(@DaySleeper) straight people only need gays for the fashion industry
(@DaySleeper) gay people need straights so they don't die out
[Paine> Ah shit guys, I'm fucked.
[Criosys> ?
[Paine> I was showing my mom the way to download and watch music on the
computer downstairs (yeah, illegal, sue me). Anyway, I forgot to factor
in the fact that there's an option box to "Search my computer for music
files".
[Criosys> and...?
[Paine> What I DIDN'T know, was that it also adds video files. So about
5 minutes ago, I walked through the living room, saw my mom and sister
at the computer watching the visualisations.
[Paine> On the way back OUT of the room, the song changed, and all of a
sudden, hardcore lesbian porn for my mom and sister to enjoy.
[Paine> Now they're banging on the door so I'm turning MY music way up
so they can't hear my crying >_<
[Z> Letting XP run for more than a month is like re-using a condom 50 or
60 times
[Z> Theoretically it can work, but is sick and ill advised
[testic] Average number of times a man will ejaculate in his lifetime: 7,200
[sg1138_] 7200 seems pretty high
[testic] I think that includes wanking and wet dreams
[sg1138_] 7200 seems pretty low
[kperpy> then i heard my mum at the door and naturally i panicked right,
but luckily i alt+tab'd to porn and took off my pants before she saw
that i was on the microsoft website
<blehnus>In my experience, any attempt to make any system idiot proof
will only challenge God to make a better idiot
[blokhead]: cell phones are amazing.. every time I think they cannot get
more annoying, they get twice as annoying. It's like Moore's law applied
to annoyance
[blokhead]: I'm anticipating the new cellphones that have a megaphone
built-in. That way, your conversations will be clearly audible to
everyone within 500 feet

copy pasted from friedpiggy who copied it from sg_ljers:
"Repression, Sir is a habit that grows. I am told it is like making love
- it is always easier the second time! The first time there may be pangs
of conscience, a sense of guilt. But once embarked on this course with
constant repetition you get more and more brazen in the attack. All you
have to do is to dissolve organizations and societies and banish and
detain the key political workers in these societies. Then miraculously
everything is tranquil on the surface. Then an intimidated press and the
government-controlled radio together can regularly sing your praises,
and slowly and steadily the people are made to forget the evil things
that have already been done, or if these things are referred to again
they're conveniently distorted and distorted with impunity, because
there will be no opposition to contradict."
- Lee Kuan Yew as an opposition PAP member speaking to David Marshall,
Singapore Legislative Assembly, Debates, 4 October, 1956

i went to a workers' party rally today. at least i TRIED okay. just that
it was so packed with people. there were at least 800 people at 8pm and
nearly 1k by the time it ended. i gave up and went home because i
couldn't even see the chairman on the stage. at first when i went there
it was all black. i thought it was just dark.
it was dark with people.
GOD.
in other news, Ps. rachel left today. another stick in the tower
collapses. HAHA she'll only hug me :P
Ps. Aaron's taking over-- i think he's a very good musician and singer.
people were rather shocked. i'm not.

i know most of you have read this already but who cares: Pub Date: 19/04/2006 Pub: ST Page: H1 Headline: JC student kills himself, convinced his private parts were too small By: Stephanie Yap and Liaw Wy-Cin Page Heading: Home Notes: Illustration
Suicide highlights importance of sex education in schools, says coroner HE WAS a second-year student at a top junior college, a member of the school volleyball team, a 'cheerful and energetic' boy who was doing well enough in his studies to take Special Papers. Yet on March 3 this year, the 18-year-old jumped to his death from a Bedok housing block, because he was convinced his private parts were too small. Delivering a verdict of suicide yesterday, State Coroner Tan Boon Heng was sufficiently concerned by this 'tragedy of misinformation' to recommend that the case be forwarded to the Ministry of Education (MOE). 'The importance of sex education to our young people in schools cannot be over-emphasised,' he wrote. 'The case study is useful for relevant MOE officers to appreciate the problem of the severity of misinformation even among the best and brightest in our schools.' The boy, who cannot be named, had confided in his mother in October last year that he was worried his private parts were too small. She took him to a neighbourhood clinic, where the doctor told him his penis was of a normal size for an Asian man, and prescribed him multivitamins. Despite strong emotional support from his girlfriend and his mother, he remained convinced he had a problem. He also had a history of being stressed over schoolwork. In January this year, he told his mother that his life was 'boring and meaningless' and that the only thing stopping him from suicide was his family's love. On March 3, after his usual volleyball practice, he took a bus from school to the Bedok interchange, but did not take his usual connecting bus home. When his sister sent him a text message at around 7pm to ask if he was coming home for dinner, he replied that he would eat out. The next and final message she received from him was at 8pm, telling her and their mother to take care. They realised something was wrong, but he repeatedly failed to answer his phone. He jumped from a housing block near the Bedok bus interchange at around 8.30pm. He was semi-conscious when he was taken to Changi General Hospital, but was pronounced dead at 10.40pm from multiple injuries. In his suicide note, written in a notebook he had bought 40 minutes before his death, he apologised to his girlfriend and his family for killing himself. 'He said it was not due to the stress of his examination, but it was more about his physical development ... He still knew there was something wrong with his body parts,' the investigation report said. In his judgment, State Coroner Tan said the boy's death showed that even intelligent young people can be victims of misinformation. 'While we are the beneficiaries of this Internet age that hails an era of information and knowledge enriching our lives, the less-informed also become victims to junk information and worse, untruths,' he said. 'The deceased was so tormented by his unfounded (belief in his) inadequacy that it drove him to end his life.' The case highlighted the importance of sexuality education, both in and out of school, he said. 'It may have helped if the deceased had the benefit of counselling now widely available. If parents are aware of their children being tormented in this way, they should seek professional help lest such tragic deaths should happen again.' Sex education, usually termed sexuality education, usually takes the form of a short series of lessons. One secondary school teacher with five years' experience told The Straits Times that at his school, sex education covers three periods a week for three weeks. Students write reflection logs on topics like boy-girl relationships, different levels of intimacy, as well as legal issues. However, he said teaching students how to be comfortable with their physical and sexual development is not in the syllabus. 'But this is something that should be looked into because it is definitely part of the students' development,' he said. - ADDITIONAL REPORTING BY LIAW WY-CIN ysteph@sph.com.sg on another note, i also cannot explain:![]()

| exacerbate. Topic Sentence - 1. NO TOPIC SENTENCE. Elaboration - You must have the TEEA structure when you write your essays. Topic Sentence, Elaboration, Example and ANALYSIS. Famous Historian K. Ping Kan once said that "but you must have a topic sentence!" Example - Biscuit Analysis - There is no clear topic sentence, and thus no FOCUS in your essay. Topic Sentence - 2. Where are your authoritative sources? Elaboration - The Japanese used little authoritative sources in their history textbooks thus they phail. Gumit Ganguly wrote that "lol I reference a lot of sources wOrXxXxX" Example - DARRELL LIAN Analysis - Lack of authoritative sources leads to the MANIPULATION and misrepresentation of the data that you have. 3. NO HOWEVER Elaboration - The lack of HOWEVER denotes no turning point in the essay. ARE YOU ONLY SUPPORTING ONE STAND? Example - Scholar T.S.H. Alan once asserted that "why no however?" Analysis - Having no however shows an immature perception from the writer that he is unable to conceive of an alternative standpoint regarding the issue at hand. | HRP 2006: Portrayal of Good and Evil in Video Games Section 5.6.2 Analysis of 'Tales of Final Pocket Dragon Gear X Trading Card Game: Blue Moon Rising' 5.6.2.1 - Introduction The 'Tales of Final Pocket Dragon Gear X Trading Card Game' series has traditionally been rich in its story and characterization. An exceptional amount of effort is put in by its creators in crafting the individual designs of the characters, all within the systemic constraints of its native console system, within the 4 pixels allocated to the character sprites. Of all the games in the series, "Blue Moon Rising" in specific is especially relevant to this research paper, considering that the game makes a deliberate attempt to blur the line between good and evil. While there is a clear protagonist, his goals are questioned more and more as the effects of the actions supposed villian, one by the name of Koko Krunch, are seen. As a 9th generation game(refer to 3.2: define generations), there is much more work in the creation of the plot of this game, and thus there is much more development of both the "good" and "evil" parties. The first half of the game is evidently more similar to the game of this genre, with a clear "good" and "evil". During this portion of the game, the characters of the protganist's party are defined in a light-hearted environment, before being thrown into the crisis of the later half. At the end of the first half, an event called the "Insurrection" occurs, which clearly demarcates the two largely differing sections of the game. The second half of the game is much darker and more philosophical, with a post-apocolyptic atmosphere and the revelation of the true mastermind behind the scenes, Koko Krunch. 5.6.2.2 - Fuzzwuzz Kooloobuckwuck "Fuzzwuzz Kooloobuckwuck"(hereafter referred to as 'Fuzzwuzz') is the protagonist of "Blue Moon Rising". On the surface, he resembles the generic RPG character, having been a soldier in the past and losing most of his memories prior to the events in the game. However, as the player progresses through the game, more light is shed on his past, revealing him to be a failed clone of the legendary Lumberjack, Sephiroth. Discarded from the experiment having resisted the mind-control process, and turned into a lowly soldier, he acted as a slave of the mysterious "J" organization for a long period before deserting the war efforts to find himself. After realizing that he is a failed clone, Fuzzwuzz faces an internal conflict regarding his identity. As a clone, he has an inferiority complex, constantly berating himself for not being able to take down Sephiroth, a major villian for the larger portion of the game, as he is merely a clone of the renowned lumberjack. At one point, he questions Bumwum(female protagonist with divine powers) whether he had a soul, to which she hesitated to give an answer. However, through the progression of the story, Fuzzwuzz slowly realizes that he has become an individual, capable of thinking and feeling on his own, and no longer needing to hide in the shadows of the predecessor Sephiroth. This realization, along with Bumwum's declaraction of love for him, drives him to enter a confrontation with Sephiroth, to decide who gets to lead the "J" organization. The confrontation marks the end of the first half of the game, where both Sephiroth and Fuzzwuzz have been clearly defined to be two separate individuals. For the first half of the game, the characters of the protagonist side are able to comfortably be developed and have their backgrounds fleshed out because there is a clear distinction between the good and the bad. However, entering the second half of the game, the aims and goals of the "good" side are put into question. 5.6.2.3 - Sephiroth There is a huge debate as to whether Sephiroth can be considered a true villian. On one hand, he was only a villian for the first half of the game, and was under direct control of Koko Crunch while he committed his acts of villiany. On the other hand, during the course of the game, Sephiroth is reluctant to join the party completely in their fight against Koko Krunch, questioning if Koko Crunch's aims and ideals are really evil, or merely misunderstood. While Koko Krunch slowly destroys every major city in the world, Sephiroth can usually be seen to a small extent celebrating the destruction of human civilization, chiding the party for mourning over the loss of lives. It is later revealed that Sephiroth only joined the party as part of his own vendetta against Koko Krunch, for having brainwashed his fellow lumberjacks. In the end, Sepiroth betrays the party, wanting to take Koko Krunch's life on his own, but failing miserably when Fuzzwuzz finally defeats him. 5.6.2.4 - "J" Organization The mysterious "J" organization, responsible for many forbidden experiments on live human subjects, is one of the first instances in the game of a morally questionable antagonistic being. While it can easily be seen why the organization is hated, for not only experimenting on humans, but also creating to soldiers and beginning war efforts against lesser developped regions. However, it is later revealed that the primary goal of the "J" organization is to accelerate the development and evolution of humans, in preparation for a probable coming "apocolypse", which threatens to wipe out the entire human race if nothing is done. Essentially, the "J" organization aims to force humans to evolve to a state where they can withstand and survive the coming "apocolypse". Originally a supposed "evil" organization which the protagonist party fights against, Fuzzwuzz eventually realizes the goal of the organization, as well as the larger truth of what is going to happen to the human race, and takes control of the "J" Organization is allowing humans to progress faster than they ever did before. 5.6.2.5 - Factional Warfare After Fuzzwuzz takes control of the "J" Organization, and Sephiroth is revealed to be controlled by a greater entity known as Koko Krunch, a large war begins between the two factions. While Fuzzwuzz leads the "J" organization in its efforts to create stronger and more powerful humans, Koko Krunch's armies are seemingly distinctively anti-human, bent of preventing the "J" organization from extending its influence far enough to save the race from the coming "apocolypse". While the player is evidently aware of Fuzzwuzz's goals from the first half of the game, more light is shed on Koko Krunch's goals in the second half, due to the ongoing war between the two factions. While the "J" Organization is distinctively humanitarian in trying to save the human race, the "K" organization, headed by Koko Krunch aims to prevent humans from playing god. Koko Krunch, whom had seen the race that preceeded the human race destroy itself from playing god with its own biological make-up, is bent on preventing humans from taking complete control of their own destiny, which because of their imperfect nature, is bound to be vulnerable to unrighteous temptation. In his opinion, whether humans will or are worthy to survive the "apocolypse" should be up to god and not up to them. As such, the "K" organization destroys all major cities that are currently researching on the biogenetic make-up of humans, in the process killing entire settlements of humans. In the end, Fuzzwuzz defeats Koko Krunch, but Koko Krunch asks Fuzzwuzz if he is really ready to take full control of the human civilization, having disregarded god and choosing to take responsibility for the fate of the human race thereafter. 5.6.2.6 - Conclusion 'Tales of Final Pocket Dragon Gear X Trading Card Game: Blue Moon Rising' is an espcecially morally ambiguous game. Although the game seemingly presents you with a morally uprighteous protagonist, as more is revealed about Koko Krunch's intention of controlling the growth of the human civilization, one begins to question who is really "right" in their cause. The game never does tell you who is right, and though the Koko Krunch's actions are evidentily objectable and meets his eventual inevitable downfall, the player is left to question if Koko Krunch's ideals really had some truth behind them, and whether the party really was just a representation of humanity's resistance toward change. This serves as a prime example of the evolving portrayal of good and evil in video games, where there is a clear and deliberate attempt in glorifying the villian and downplaying the ideals of the hero. In the second half of the game, the party put into direct conflict with Koko Krunch in large factional war. As with many wars, both sides are faulted at many points, and there is no clear good or bad, despite the game's portrayal of the Fuzzwuzz's party as the "good" faction. In the end, the "good" faction, headed by Fuzzwuzz, wins the war. This serves to mislead the player once again into thinking along the lines of "good always wins", which while true in many RPGs, is not so apparent in this game. While the "J" organization has won the war, the future is unclear, as history may repeat itself, having the human race destroy itself in controlling its own destiny. In essense, while one side has won and is heralded as the "good" side, the "evil" faction's points remain undoubtedly valid, with a haunting reminder for the player of what would happen now that the "good" side has won. In fact, the plot of the game has much more meaning once the player stops thinking along the sides of "good and bad" and "right and wrong", and focuses more on the issues that the game is trying to deal with. Hence, this game serves as an example of the plot of games evolving to a point where the line between good and evil is no longer even important, paving the way for more complex and less clear-cut stories, and enhances the validatity of video games as a story-telling medium. |

King Arthur: Whoa there!
[clop clop clop]
Soldier #1: Halt! Who goes there?
Arthur: It is I, Arthur, son of Uther Pendragon, from the castle of Camelot. King of the Britons, defeater of the Saxons, Sovereign of all England!
Soldier #1: Pull the other one!
Arthur: I am, ...and this is my trusty servant Patsy. We have ridden the length and breadth of the land in search of knights who will join me in my court at Camelot. I must speak with your lord and master.
Soldier #1: What? Ridden on a horse?
Arthur: Yes!
Soldier #1: You're using coconuts!
Arthur: What?
Soldier #1: You've got two empty halves of coconut and you're bangin' 'em together.
Arthur: So? We have ridden since the snows of winter covered this land, through the kingdom of Mercia, through--
Soldier #1: Where'd you get the coconuts?
Arthur: We found them.
Soldier #1: Found them? In Mercia? The coconut's tropical!
Arthur: What do you mean?
Soldier #1: Well, this is a temperate zone.
Arthur: The swallow may fly south with the sun or the house martin or the plover may seek warmer climes in winter, yet these are not strangers to our land?
Soldier #1: Are you suggesting coconuts migrate?
Arthur: Not at all. They could be carried.
Soldier #1: What? A swallow carrying a coconut?
Arthur: It could grip it by the husk!
Soldier #1: It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a one pound coconut.
Arthur: Well, it doesn't matter. Will you go and tell your master that Arthur from the Court of Camelot is here?
Soldier #1: Listen. In order to maintain air-speed velocity, a swallow needs to beat its wings forty-three times every second, right?
Arthur: Please!
Soldier #1: Am I right?
Arthur: I'm not interested!
Soldier #2: It could be carried by an African swallow!
Soldier #1: Oh, yeah, an African swallow maybe, but not a European swallow. That's my point.
Soldier #2: Oh, yeah, I agree with that.
Arthur: Will you ask your master if he wants to join my court at Camelot?!
Soldier #1: But then of course a-- African swallows are non-migratory.
Soldier #2: Oh, yeah...
Soldier #1: So, they couldn't bring a coconut back anyway...
[clop clop clop]
Soldier #2: Wait a minute! Supposing two swallows carried it together?
Soldier #1: No, they'd have to have it on a line.
Soldier #2: Well, simple! They'd just use a strand of creeper!
Soldier #1: What, held under the dorsal guiding feathers?
Soldier #2: Well, why not?

"Repression, Sir is a habit that grows. I am told it is like making love
- it is always easier the second time! The first time there may be pangs
of conscience, a sense of guilt. But once embarked on this course with
constant repetition you get more and more brazen in the attack. All you
have to do is to dissolve organizations and societies and banish and
detain the key political workers in these societies. Then miraculously
everything is tranquil on the surface. Then an intimidated press and the
government-controlled radio together can regularly sing your praises,
and slowly and steadily the people are made to forget the evil things
that have already been done, or if these things are referred to again
they're conveniently distorted and distorted with impunity, because
there will be no opposition to contradict."

i know most of you have read this already but who cares: Pub Date: 19/04/2006 Pub: ST Page: H1 Headline: JC student kills himself, convinced his private parts were too small By: Stephanie Yap and Liaw Wy-Cin Page Heading: Home Notes: Illustration

| The Keys to Your Heart |
![]() You are attracted to those who are unbridled, untrammeled, and free. In love, you feel the most alive when things are straight-forward, and you're told that you're loved. You'd like to your lover to think you are optimistic and happy. You would be forced to break up with someone who was emotional, moody, and difficult to please. Your ideal relationship is comforting. You crave a relationship where you always feel warmth and love. Your risk of cheating is zero. You care about society and morality. You would never break a commitment. You think of marriage as something precious. You'll treasure marriage and treat it as sacred. In this moment, you think of love as something you thirst for. You'll do anything for love, but you won't fall for it easily. |

NUMB/DUMB

I'm tired of being what you want me to be
Feeling so worthless
No sense of purpose
Don't know what you're expecting of me
Put under the pressure
Of going through IP
[One more year to go/Just one more year to go...]
Losing my touch, this is just too much for me...
[One more year to go/Just one more year to go...]
I've become so dumb
->I can't keep up the pace
Can't get A1
->I hate doing Ace
Tried to no avail
->Cut-off point at three
Can't afford to fail
->Losing at IP
Can't you see that you're bothering me
Holding too tightly
Afraid to lose control
Cause everything that you thought I would be
Has fallen apart, right in front of you
[One more year to go/Just one more year to go...]
Losing my touch, this is just too much for me...
[One more year to go/Just one more year to go...]
And all the tests I take; I'm about to break!
I've become so dumb
->I can't keep up the pace
Can't get A1
->I hate doing Ace
Tried to no avail
->Cut-off point at three
Can't afford to fail
->Losing at IP
And I know
I may end up failing too
But I know
You are just like me
Expectations too high for you
I've become so dumb
->I can't keep up the pace
Can't get A1
->I hate doing Ace
Tried to no avail
->Cut-off point at three
Can't afford to fail
->Losing at IP
I've become so dumb
->I can't keep up the pace
[Tired of being what you want me to be]
I've become so dumb
->You're laughing in my face
[You don't realize the problems with IP...]
