1. Why did God put the tree of knowledge there if he knew that Adam and Eve were going to eat it anyway?

A. Because, God had already EXPLICITLY told them not to eat the fruit, and so since they ate the fruit, they had already done wrong. They already KNEW what GOOD and EVIL was, so.. you know.
